Ann Sharp’s Philosophy Retreat

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By booking a stay at Ann Sharp’s Philosophy Retreat, you (the Guest) agree to abide by these Terms of Service. These terms outline the policies and guidelines for reservations, payments, cancellations, and general conduct while staying at our property.

2. BOOKING POLICY

  • Guests must book a minimum stay of 2 nights and a maximum stay of 14 nights per reservation.

    - Longer stays available upon consultation

  • Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person, subject to availability.

  • Guests must be 18 years or older to book a room. Valid government-issued identification is required at check-in.

  • We do not allow third-party bookings; the guest making the reservation must be one of the occupants.

3. PAYMENT POLICY

  • A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.

  • The remaining 70% balance is due upon check-in.

  • We accept payments via major credit/debit cards and cash. We do not accept personal checks.

4. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the check-in date will receive a full refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made 14 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in are non-refundable.

  • No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.

  • Early departures are non-refundable.

5. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT POLICY

  • Check-in time: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM. If arriving after 7:00 PM, prior arrangements must be made.

  • Check-out time: 12:00 PM. Late check-outs may incur an additional fee.

6. HOUSE RULES

  • Occupancy: Each room has a maximum occupancy of 2 guests.

  • No Smoking: Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is strictly prohibited inside the premises. A cleaning fee of $100 will be charged for violations.

  • No Pets: Pets are not allowed unless explicitly authorized under ADA guidelines for service animals.

  • Noise Policy: Quiet hours are 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Please respect other guests.

  • Damage & Liability: Guests are responsible for any damages caused to the property. A charge will be applied for repair or replacement.

  • Lost Items: The B&B is not responsible for lost or stolen items. A lost and found service is available upon request.

7. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

Guests assume all risks associated with their stay. Ann Sharp’s Philosophy Retreat is not liable for injuries, accidents, theft, or damages occurring during a guest's stay.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for disruptions due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, or utility failures. In such cases, we may offer rescheduling options at our discretion.

9. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Guests will be notified of significant changes before their stay.
